Teacher evaluations

The Golden Apple Foundation of Illinois supports motivated young students in their efforts to become highly effective teachers.

High school graduates, as well as freshman and sophomore college students are admitted to the Golden Apple Scholars program. Scholars are awarded tuition assistance, and so much more to aid them in their effort to become teachers.

A vital part of the Scholars program, is to provide mentoring by experienced educators. Mentors submit their observations of a scholar’s student teaching experience based on classroom visits. Each Scholar receives at least three evaluations per semester. To facilitate this aspect of the program London Net Studio created a secure web portal for submission and review of each observation before it is synchronized through an encrypted connection to the main Scholars database.
